Eastern Ukraine, Warsaw’s first day, nuclear exercises, diesel, food security and the struggle over who pays.
Working people need their own account of the world: one that connects military decisions to everyday life, and refuses to make national borders the limits of solidarity.
IER brings a revolutionary historical perspective to the present — with AI as a research tool, evidence as a discipline, and human judgment at the centre.

René OudewegEditor, International Executive Review
International Executive Review is an independent bulletin rooted in revolutionary internationalism and the history of the working-class movement.
Its renewed English-language series examines war and geopolitics, NATO–Russia relations, rearmament, living standards and the workers’ front. It also makes room for history, science, language and culture. A serious view of the world leaves room for curiosity.
Much of IER’s research and drafting uses artificial intelligence. AI helps translate, compare sources and make complex developments accessible. It can also make mistakes. Reporting, official claims and editorial interpretation are therefore kept distinct, with sources available for readers to examine.
Our starting point is solidarity across borders, the defence of civilian life, and the independence of working people from the ambitions of states. The world is our horizon; critical inquiry is our method.
